Foresight is always at the center of my work and thoughts. Today I am a partner at Longviews, the world's most prestigious consulting firm specializing in strategic foresight for defense and security. I served as the lead advisor for strategic foresight and futures studies supporting the leadership of the United States Space Force, NATO, and the Italian Government.
The future isn’t predicted: it’s used.

Foresight is applicable to any entity operating in complex, rapidly evolving environments, including those tasked with making strategic decisions for people’s safety. My work is directed precisely at these organizations, primarily Ministries of Defense, international organizations, and large multinational companies with a high innovative impact.

Insight Hunter
Insights are pathways of the mind. They span disciplines, research, comparisons, and in-depth studies. And they don’t have a single endpoint. I search for them every day, and I do it for companies and organizations that need to solve complex problems or choose the paths in which to invest and engage in the coming years. These are choices that can change the world and our habits — better making them with full awareness.
The right verb to pair with the word 'future' is not 'know' or 'predict,' but 'use'.

Author and communicator
I carry out an intense activity of public outreach on foresight. I have two books under my belt (one with Routledge and the other with Springer), and there are many official documents of NATO, the United States, Italy, Switzerland, and France in which I lent my pen. My works have been published by institutions like the Brookings Institution and the Hudson Institute, and every week I continue a steady outreach activity on my social channels.

I have directed master’s programs and taught courses at all levels for Sapienza University of Rome and Tor Vergata University of Rome, UNIL – Université de Lausanne, the U.S. Space Force, the Air Force Institute of Technology, the U.S. Air Force Academy, HEC Lausanne, and the Italian Center for Higher Defense Studies (Centro Alti Studi per la Difesa). I have also led study days at large private organizations like Meta, Renault, Leonardo, and atelier oï.

I am often invited to the stages of prestigious international events where foresight, global security, and technology are discussed. For example, I have participated in the Dubai Future Forum, NATO-Industry Forum, NATO Chief of Transformation Conference, Senior Leaders Conference – Centro Alti Studi per la Difesa, Riga STRATCOM Dialogue, European Commission EDPS Conference, NATO Allied Foresight Conference, OECD Government Foresight Conference, Space Defense & Security Summit, the Graduate Institute of Geneva, Institut Le Rosey, and the European Forum Alpbach.
